DrupalCon London 2011

DrupalCon is the premier gathering place for Drupal contributors, users and those wishing to incorporate Drupal into their online presence or their career.

DrupalCon London used the Conference Organizing Distribution to build their large site.

The Design and UX team evaluated the typical DrupalCon schedule and contents, and the typical goals of site visitors. Feedback from previous conferences was fairly consistent: people like to plan their day without flicking between multiple sources.

It was decided that displaying every scheduled session or gathering for each day on one screen, with filters for track and experience level. The layout was revised to better support the display of multiple types of sessions running concurrently. The filters are also collapsible.

This original theme was created for the event, and plays off the London Underground style.
